Apr. 2, 1927 d. Apr. 10, 2001 The 1930 Census shows the whole familly living at 1494 Fairmount Ave. St Paul, Ramsey,MN Charles was working as a Department manager for a wholesale and paper mfg. He died March 1st 1940 and is buried in Roselawn Cemetery Roseville, Ramsey County, Mn. OBITUARY ST. Paul, MN Pioneer Press March 30, 1940 After Charles death Ione came to live with my grandfather, who was widowed by then, and my mother and I at 509 Adams St. Wausau Wi. about 1947. She rented the upstairs apartment and since my mother worked full time she hired Ione to watch me. She taught me how to play canasta and darn socks. We would listen to Arthur Godfrey in the morning and soap Operas in the afternoon on the radio. After my grandfather came to live with my mother and I in 1956 in Lansing, Michigan, Ione went to live with her daughter Susan in Cincinnati, OH.
