This is my family heritage from my mother's side, Ruth Sawyer (Meyer) Wright.
My parents were divorced and my mother and I always lived with my maternal grandfather Joseph Kendall Sawyer.
I know very little about my grandmother, Ida Smith Jones, as she died just before my second birthday.
She did have a daughter by a previous marrige, Bernice Jones.
Her parents, Silas and Mary M Smith, lived in nothern Illinois and she had a brother Walter Smith.
Joseph's parents were Charles Edmund Sawyer and Sarah Maria Willard.
