THE JOSEPH WILLARD(3) FAMILLY HOUSE

Joseph, the first of five consecutive Josephs in the Willard family line ending with Joseph Kendall Willard, was born in about 1686 in Lancaster, County Worcester, Massachutes to Henry and Mary Larkin Willard and the Grandson of Major Simon and Mary Dunster Willard.

He married Married Elizabeth Tarbell(Aug. 19, 1691 - Dec.23, 1763) in 1706 of Groton, Massachusetts. They had nine children. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Harvard and must have been of some high standing as his pew was in the first row (usually box pews holding 4-6 familly members and subscribe to.). Josheph and his brothers John, Hezekiah and James were also active in the government holding various position,one of which was fence viewer in the new town of Harvard.

He died on July 30 1761 in Harvard, Worcester Co., MA.
